Elien Vrijsen, based in Brussels, Belgium, is the data controller responsible for the personal information you send through this website about language lessons.

You can submit privacy questions and requests through the contact form on this website.

When you submit the contact form, Elien receives the details you choose to enter: your name, email address, learning goal and any additional message.

The enquiry is securely forwarded to Elien through Web3Forms. Web3Forms processes the information solely to deliver the form submission.

For security and spam filtering, Web3Forms may also process technical data such as your IP address, submission time and referring page.

Elien uses your details to respond to your enquiry, arrange an introductory chat and, if you choose to continue, organise lessons. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

If you become a learner, some information may also be needed for scheduling, administration, invoicing and legal obligations.

Elien does not use or share your enquiry for advertising purposes, and she never sells your personal information. The hosting service and Web3Forms process information only as needed to provide and secure the website and contact form.

Web3Forms may use subprocessors such as CleanTalk and Akismet for spam filtering. Where information is processed outside the European Economic Area, Web3Forms relies on standard contractual clauses.

Elien removes an enquiry that does not lead to lessons from her own records no later than twelve months after the last contact. If you become a learner, administrative or invoicing information is kept as long as needed for the service and applicable legal retention duties.

On the free plan, submissions remain visible in the Web3Forms dashboard for 30 days. Web3Forms states that the underlying submission data may be retained for up to three years unless deleted earlier.

You can ask for earlier deletion at any time. Elien will delete any information that is no longer needed and that she is not legally required to retain.

This website currently uses no advertising cookies, tracking pixels or analytics tools. The hosting service may process strictly necessary technical logs to keep the website secure and available.

This website does not use automated decision-making or profiling.

You may request access to, correction, deletion, restriction or transfer of your information, and object to its processing where the GDPR gives you those rights. Use the contact form on this website to make a request.

You can also request information or lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority.
